Founded in Çorum in 1960, the Ekmekçioğulları Group began its industrial journey with copper sheet production; in 1976, it added copper ingot manufacturing to its operations. Entering a corporate structure in the 1990s, the group expanded its product range with zinc sheet production; and in 2000, it began producing zinc alloys. To consolidate its expertise in this field and focus on new chemical products, Ekmekçioğulları Metal ve Kimya San. Tic. A.Ş. was established.
Today, Ekmekçioğulları, with over half a century of experience, is a pioneer in the metal and chemical industry, boasting a broad product portfolio including zinc, zinc alloys, copper alloys, zinc oxide, and sulfate-based inorganic chemicals. Ekmekçioğulları operates in its modern facilities in Çorum, covering a total area of 79,918 m². With a covered production area of 42,508 m² and an annual production capacity of 175,000 tons, the company further strengthens its position in the sector year after year.
Ekmekçioğulları exports to 56 countries across 5 continents, including Europe, Asia, America, South America, and Africa, reaching a wide global customer network with 62 different products. It offers high-quality solutions to numerous sectors such as mining, agriculture, feed, chemicals, ceramics, and galvanizing. Furthermore, the company effectively manages its high-volume and sustainable production process with 24 national and international quality certifications.

Huseyin Ekmekci
Our Founder, Ekmekçioğulları
Born in 1940, Hüseyin Ekmekçi, together with his brother Bahri Ekmekçi, founded Emek Bakır in 1960, laying the foundations for what is now the company. Through their diligent and patient work, the two brothers expanded their operations, starting with copper sheet production, and in 1976 added copper ingot manufacturing to their service areas. Following the death of his brother Bahri Ekmekçi, he took over the Ekmekçioğulları name, establishing a name for himself in the metal, chemical, zinc, and copper sectors, achieving rapid growth. Like all family members, his hard work, business acumen, and pioneering business decisions have made the Ekmekçioğulları name known not only throughout Turkey but also through exports to European countries.
Always remaining committed to the values entrusted to us by our Founder, Mr. Hüseyin Ekmekçi, who passed away in 2021, and guided by the goals he set, Ekmekçioğulları will continue to grow, export to more than 50 countries, and contribute added value to the national economy by demonstrating all the necessary effort and dedication to further elevate the structure he established.

Ozcan Ekmekci
Eternal President of Ekmekçioğulları
Born in Çorum in 1962, Özcan Ekmekçi is the eldest child of Hüseyin Ekmekçi and the second-generation manager of the family. He completed his primary education at Cumhuriyet Primary School, his secondary education at Eti Secondary School; he started high school at the Commercial High School and finished it at the Vocational School.
Ekmekçi, who started working at a young age, has achieved many successes. His sincerity, humility, and energy have made him a beloved figure in his community, earning him a special place in the hearts of the people of Çorum.
He served as an administrator at Çorumspor for many years, was involved in tennis as an amateur, and was known for his Fenerbahçe fandom. He has always maintained his passion for sports.
He had adopted honesty and diligence as principles in his professional life and conducted all his ventures with this understanding. Mr. Ekmekçi, who passed away on January 3, 2019, was married to Belgin Hanım and was the father of two sons.
Ekmekçioğulları continues on its path today with the ideals of its Eternal President.
